COMPANY FOUNDERS

Jay and Ryan Fennell

Jay Fennell

Jay Fennell, pictured left with his son Ryan after winning the 2002 9-10 year old PA State Little League Championship, has taken his passion for this great game of baseball and turned it into a way of life. Nothing But Baseball has instructed over 300 different children in the greater Butler area, and is in the process of marketing a unique line of clothing that, within a year, will be national. Someone once told Jay, "If you don't love what you do for a living, find something you love to do and figure out how you can make a living doing it."

Baseball Coaching Experience
Coached six years at the varsity level at Baldwin High School located in the South Hills of Pittsburgh from 1989-1995. Head varsity coach for Butler High School from 1996-1998. Both Butler and Baldwin were AAAA schools with Butler being the largest in Western Pennsylvania. Jay graduated from Butler High in 1975 and was the starting center fielder and lead off batter for his high school team.

Baseball runs rampant through Jay's children. Jason Fennell, age 24, has seven years of professional baseball experience. He was drafted by the Chicago White Sox. Jason teaches for Nothing But Baseball in the off-season and continues to work hard to make it to "the show." Ryan Fennell, age 10, was a cornerstone on the all-star team that won the 2002 9-10 year old PA State Little League Championship. Mickey Fennell, age 8, is following in the footsteps of his brothers. Mick will attempt to duplicate Ryan's efforts in a state championship in 2003.

Work Experience
President and CEO of Muscle Products Corporation. Muscle Products manufactures specialty lubricants, with approximately 15 products in its line. Jay's main responsibilities included marketing the entire product line and establishing worldwide distribution. Between 1990-2000, Muscle Products expanded its worldwide distribution base from 5 to nearly 50 countries (many of which were visited by Jay). Sales also rose in proportion during this time period. Prior to 1990, work experience was in management with AT&T and in scholastic sales with Herff Jones (the company that makes the Heisman Trophy). Upon graduating from college, Jay also managed a catalog showroom in Pittsburgh, PA, for a company called Dahlkemper's.
John Stuper

John Stuper

John Stuper, head baseball coach of Yale University, reached the century win mark faster than any Eli baseball coach but will always be remembered for his major league pitching efforts with both the St. Louis Cardinals and the Cincinnatti Reds. The 13th Yale head coach, Stuper has led the Elis to three Red Rolfe Division Three Red League championships. His 1993 squad was his best, winning a school-record 33 games, earning an NCAA Regional appearance, and setting numerous school records including 160 stolen bases in 44 games. He earned 1993 New England Division 1 Coach of the Year, and Northeast Region Division 1 Coach of the Year honors. His overall record at Yale is 190-190.

Major League Experience
Stuper pitched in the big leagues from 1982-85, appearing in a totall of 111 games. He posted a 32-28 overall record with a 3.96 earned run average. His most memorable performance came in the sixth game of the 1982 World Series with the Cardinals. With St. Louis trailing Milwaukee, three games to two, the right-hander helped the Redbirds even the series with a 13-1 complete game, four-hit victory. St. Louis went on to win the Series the following day. Sports Illustrated listed his World Series performance amoung the 10 best by a rookie pitcher in the history of post season play.

Education
The only two-time All-Conference baseball and basketball player at Butler County Community College (1976, 1977), Stuper fashioned a 34-3 collegiate record. He also helped Point Park, PA College to the NAIA World Series in 1978, while earning NAIA All-America honors.
Stuper, who received his bachelor's degree from LaRoche (PA) College and his masters in English at Slippery Rock University in 1989, continued as head coach at Butler until March 1991, when he returned to the Cardinals as a minor league pitching instructor.
